SoTask ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
SoTask is designed with strict privacy in mind. All your task data (titles, descriptions, priorities, categories, due dates, completion status), daily challenges, pomodoro focus sessions, and analytics are stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not collect, transmit, sync, or store any of your personal data on external servers. We simply do not have access to it.
SoTask uses local notifications to send task reminders and due-date alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external cloud services. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app settings.
To keep SoTask free, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use device identifiers or cookies to serve ads based on your prior use of this app or other apps/websites. Google's use of advertising identifiers enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your usage data. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings (e.g., by resetting your advertising ID) or by reviewing Google's Privacy & Terms.
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data, and it is not backed up to any cloud service. If you uninstall the app or clear the app's data in your device settings, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.
